​A non-residential weekend in The Wee Retreat, a delightful wee light-filled sanctuary in the heart of southside Glasgow.

This retreat offers newcomers an opportunity to experience some of the teachings and practices of the Céile Dé Tradition, an ancient Celtic spirituality handed down orally throughout many centuries in Ireland and Scotland.

Further opportunities will be available for those seeking a committed spiritual path for personal change, through local groups.

​Our spiritual ancestors lived in the everyday world like we do, but found ways to understand and work with our inner selves, to help us transform and grow from the inside out.

The Céile Dé Tradition has always been an oral tradition, and remains so in that teachings are only ever given in person.  Teachings find their way into the heart of the seeker from the heart of the teacher; through, around and beneath the words being spoken.

During this weekend retreat, we will:

Explore some of the teachings from this wise and beautiful path
including how and why we can transform

An introduction to our energy centres 

Learn Gaelic spiritual chants (the Fuinn)
which express beautifully our “soul longing” and work with our energy centres

Meditate together
mostly in silence, and including a guided meditation

Learn some simple practices
that help us along our path of transformation

Share thoughts and questions

Have silent time for reflection
perhaps walking outside (weather permitting!)
