Retreat Venue
The Wee Retreat is, as the name suggests, a small venue, with a modern, spacious design.
Simplicity of décor and the light from large windows overlooking a tiny garden with trees, create peaceful surroundings which are ideal for our retreat. |
We will be using a lovely studio on the ground floor throughout the retreat. There are plenty of chairs, cushions, stools and mats to cater for our physical needs. Toilets are on the ground floor and are wheelchair accessible.
Tea and coffee is provided and we have full use of the little kitchen, which is on the ground floor. Lunch is not provided but we can use the microwave to heat up our own food. We recommend that you bring your own packed lunch and we will eat together.
Accessibility: There are two steps up to the front door, but the side door is wheelchair accessible.
Travel
The Wee Retreat is very close to Crosshill Railway Station, which you can reach from Glasgow’s Central Station. It is also on several bus routes.
If you come by car, parking is on-street and should not be a problem at the times you arrive. Hampden Football Stadium is quite close by, but we will arrive long before the fans and so will beat them to the spaces! I am told that noise from the stadium does not reach the Wee Retreat.
