The 'Teinntean' Team
Starting with the Annual Scottish Teaching Retreat in 2020, all Céile Dé retreats in the UK/Europe will be organised and administered by a group of four volunteers - the Teinntean team.
They are all long-standing members of the Céile Dé community, and live in Belgium, Scotland and England. When you make a booking or email us, you will hear from either Heike, Julie, Lesley or Marion. The team also oversee the UK/EU Bursary Fund which gives financial support to members of the caim. You can find out more about the Bursary Fund here.

Meet the team
Marion Wilson
Marion is an Elder and dedicated member of our longest-standing Céile Dé group, based in Edinburgh. She has mentored many newcomers to the tradition over the years and also tutors on our Forus Feasa course. |
Heike Killet
Heike lives in Belgium. She is an Elder and founder of one of our groups that meets on Skype, due to the distance of its members from the nearest physical group meeting. As well as teaching on our Forus Feasa course, Heike also offers teaching retreats in English, French and German. Heike is already an established member of the retreat bookings team. |
Julie Darling
Julie lives in the Yorkshire Dales and is an Elder and founder of Fonn a'Tuath, the Céile Dé group which is based in the North of England. Julie is a long-standing caimeach, who serves the Caim through mentoring newcomers and has also been part of the retreat bookings team for UK/European retreats for several years. |
Lesley Russell
Lesley's home is in Cumbria, in the English Lake District. Lesley is an Elder and is also Rianaire (administrator) for the North of England group Fonn a’Tuath (which means Song/Land of the North). Lesley attended the very first English Teaching Retreat in Glastonbury in 2014 and joined the Caim in 2015. |
